Coins illustrate some of the last uses of paleo-Hebrew. The coin was minted during the Second Jewish Revolt (132–135 A.D.), which was led by Bar Kokhba. It portrays the portico of the Temple; next to it, “Jerusalem” is written in paleo-Hebrew.
