Reconstruction of 10th Century B.C. Four-Room Building
A typical Israelite four-room structure, this building contained three parallel rooms and a fourth room perpendicular to them. The outside walls of the building were made of one or more stone courses and a mudbrick superstructure surmounted with a crenellation.
