Pillar-base figurine: This female figurine stands on a hollow wheel-made base; her arms and prominent breasts are molded by hand; the head was separately made in a mold and then joined to the body. Similar figurines, which are thought to be fertility objects, have been found in many late eighth to early sixth century B.C. sites in Judea.
