Reconstructed from pottery sherds found on a storeroom house floor, the four-handled royal Judean jar bears a
l’melekh stamp on one of its handles, and a stopper in its neck. The four-winged
l’melekh stamp bears the name Hebron. See detail and drawing of stamp.
All of these pottery sherds and stamped handles were found amid the crumbled walls in Tel Lachish’s Level III.
