Incised rims of pottery vessels dating from the 10th century B.C. were found at Tell Qiri. This type of incised vessel is known only from sites in the Jezreel Valley (such as Megiddo, Qiri, and Yoqne’am) and from coastal sites west of the Jezreel, such as Shiqmona and Tel Mevorach. Analysis of the distribution of these pots and of the source of the clay from which they were made may provide information about relations between the sites which used them in the 10th century B.C.
