An “Assyrian” bottle (8th century B.C.) from Tell Qiri, a village one and a half miles from Yoqne’am. This vessel is a local imitation of a well-known type of Assyrian pottery introduced into Syria-Palestine during the period of Assyrian domination in the last third of the 8th century B.C.
