The decoration on the multi-handled Iron Age vessel from Tell Qiri (12th–11th centuries B.C.) resembles multi-handled Late Bronze Age vessels (16th–13th centuries B.C.). Thus it is evidence for the transition in this region from Canaanite to Israelite civilization.
