Notched fans or ovals with handles were also found in the tombs near Akko. The oval at left and its handle were cast separately. Each of the two fans at right was cast as one piece. They are about 17 cm (6.75 inches) wide and 7 cm (2.75 inches) long. Remains of plants and wool still clung to two of these bronze objects. Are you stumped?
