The second tomb chamber of the Goliath family. The four ossuaries in the middle loculus, or burial niche, contained the remains of three generations of the Goliath family, including the matriarch of the clan, Shlomsion, and the patriarch, Yehoezer Goliath. Entered by a passageway from the main chamber, this burial room measures 9.8 feet by 9.8 feet and contains six niches, three of which are visible in this photo. The chamber walls are plastered like those of the main chamber, but they are not decorated with frescoes.
