Ossuaries, pulled from their loculi and broken by Bedouin who had illegally entered this tomb in the mid 1970s, appear as the authors found them shortly afterward during an emergency salvage excavation. On this north wall of the tomb’s main chamber, we see three loculi containing ossuaries. The arched opening, far left, is an entrance to a stepped passageway leading down to a second tomb chamber.
