All signs of rock-mass 1 are buried beneath a new garden and wall recently built by the Moslem authorities. To identify the spot where rock-mass 1 is now buried, note the location of the blue doorway and the angled wall to its right in the two photos. Despite its great importance to solving the problem of the location of the First and Second Temples, this large rock-mass can no longer be studied by scholars.
