The house where the coins were discovered. Two hundred eighty-two gold dinars were hidden beneath the pavement of the courtyard in this late Byzantine dwelling near the Sea of Galilee. The doorway into the courtyard is indicated by the arrow. The courtyard extends in the direction of the arrow along the left edge of the picture. Five feet beyond the doorway, the hoard of coins was discovered. The cluster of rooms to the right of the courtyard was the living quarters of the house.
