Hall of Fountains: A real outdoor swimming pool, the Hall of Fountains is the largest pool at Hammat Gader, enclosed by a hall 100 feet long and 45 feet wide. Because so many fountains were discovered here, many in situ lining the sides of the pool, the excavators named the room the Hall of Fountains. The sturdy walls of the hall still rise to a height of 17 feet.
