Among the most intriguing finds in the amphora was a collection of 24 bronze bracelets. Gold gilt still clings to some of these rare circular bracelets, each consisting of two rounded hollow parts joined by a polygonal rivet at one end. Two bracelet fragments, right, are decorated with a “peacock’s eye” motif. Grooves divide the other bracelets into three fields—two with patterned rhomboids or a net design and one with a stylized leaf motif.
