A dice game graffito mars one flagstone of the pavement under the Sisters of Zion Convent. The square box, made up of smaller spiraling boxes, may have been used by bored soldiers standing guard duty to play a game. In the game, called Basilikos (“King”), opponents’ markers advanced according to the throw of dice in a race to storm the king’s tower at the center.
