Garo Nalbandian

Originally Ecce Homo was part of a triple-vaulted triumphal arch, a large central arch flanked by two side-arches. Today only portions of two survive. The smaller, northern side arch has been preserved above the altar of the Sisters of Zion chapel; part of the large central arch springs to the right from the small arch and continues outside the building as the span across the Via Dolorosa.
