More than 1,000 years after Costanza’s mausoleum was built, an engraver named De Brnyn depicted the Holy Sepulchre Church rotunda. Here, in his work from 1681, we see that the round enclosure— probably first built by Constantine in the fourth century—persists in the Crusader reconstruction of the church.
