Almost identical to the gold ring from Jerusalem, this ring is in the collection of the Benaki Museum in Athens. Other similiar examples are known in Europe. The rings were probably worn by travelers to the Holy Land who chose this elegant adornment to remind them of their pilgrimage to the tomb of Jesus.
