Letters, supply vouchers, inventory lists and important military orders were among the documents discovered in Eliashib’s archive. This document, found outside the fortress, may have originally been part of the archive, for it is addressed, on the obverse (not shown) to Eliashib. Its urgent message, on the reverse seen here, orders soldiers to be sent as reinforcements from Arad to Ramat-Negeb.
