Sheet silver coats a solid bronze plaque that may have been part of a standard. The drawing shows details of the artwork. A goddess, depicted as a torso, holds two snakes. Below her appears an omega-shaped symbol with prominently curved ends. The symbol is repeated above the goddess”s head.
Yigael Yadin excavated this plaque in a Late Bronze Age (1400–1200 B.C.) stratum at Hazor.
