Anthropomorphic cult stand. Still showing traces of the original decorations painted in red and black, this stand bears a heavy-lidded face with a well-trimmed beard. Ritual offerings may have been put in a bowl that was then placed over the hole in the top of the heat. This is one of a large number of wheel-made, cylindrical pottery stands found at Horvat Qitmit. See artist’s depiction of how they may have appeared when in use.
