The mummy of Nefertiti’s probable grandfather, Yuya, is especially well preserved. Again we see non-Nubian traits: a high-bridged nose, thin lips and long strands of fine, curly hair. Similar traits are seen in the mummy of his daughter, Queen Tiy (see photograph).
