Proving that archaeologists can get right into the middle of things during a dig, Noor Mulder (left), with the help of volunteer Georgina Lally, brushes away debris from a large, round oven in area 15, just outside Tel Hadar’s public building. The oven closely resembles the tabun in wide use even today throughout the Middle East.
