Artifacts from inside the central cairn include three gold earrings from the Late Bronze Age (1550–1200 B.C.E.). Because most of these items were found in the dromos that led to the burial chamber, Mizrachi speculates that they were dropped by careless graverobbers in antiquity who could not find them in the dark passageway.
