Model of the Megiddo city gate. The remains in the preceding photo of the gate formed the lower part of the upper left tower in the model. Someone entering the city would first pass through a two-chambered outer gate (lower left in the model) and then turn left into the main, six-chambered, gate (three chambers on each side).
