Now that’s a pot! The lower half of a ninth-century B.C. Israelite storage jar, found at Hazor in 1993, fills the arms of volunteer Sharon Wiese of Ambassador College in Big Sandy, Texas. The original 12-gallon vessel would have been used to hold solids, such as grain, seeds and flour.
