A bolted stone door pivoting on a hinged socket (at right) still blocks the passageway from room C to room A of Cave 2, the Eros family tomb. The ossuary sitting in the niche of the arcosolium to the left of the door bears typical rosette designs, in contrast to the animal’s head on another ossuary. The iron bolt lock, affixed to the wall and door with lead, is still in place.
