You’re never too young to join a dig, or at least to enjoy playing in the dirt, as two-year-old Adar Finkelstein can attest. Daughter of the Megiddo dig’s co-director, Israel Finkelstein, Adar works here in the tell’s Early Bronze Age temple. Although the site will be closed in 1995, excavations will resume in 1996, when Adar turns 4.
