A pre-Islamic deity. These rock drawings of female figures from Najran, in southern Saudi Arabia, are believed to represent a goddess called Alia (or Han-Ilat). Similar examples of rock art found in the Asir, Nejd and Hejaz regions have been dated between 500 B.C. and 500 A.D.
