Sculpted horns attached to bowls suggest that these vessels held offerings made to ensure fertility. The bowl at left displays a protruding nose set between two horns while the one at right has a horn-shaped handle. Known as fenestrated-footed bowls, these examples have lost their pedestal bases with cut-out windows.
