A mosaic floor from the Christian basilica, now in the Chersonesus Museum, dating to between the second and fourth century C.E. The excavators believe the mosaic floor and plaster fragments indicate that the site hosted a Jewish public space, or synagogue, centuries before the building of the Byzantine church.
