The bovine goddess Hathor, depicted with a woman’s face and cow horns, is both scratched into and carved in relief on the side of the best-preserved ivory box found in the palace’s northeastern side room. Surrounding the box were beads and cylinder seals, which had spilled out when the box fell to the ground during the fire that destroyed the palace.
