Avraham Biran
Lewis Andrews, a district governor in Palestine, cuts a dashing figure in Arab headdress, à la Lawrence of Arabia. Biran remembers Andrews as a wonderful person who was very friendly to the Jewish settlements in Palestine. Andrews, too, was a victim of the violence in the region: He was killed in an attack on a Sunday morning as he was going to church in Nazareth.
