The Jerusalem skyline crowds the two prominent domes of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The larger gray dome rises above Jesus’ Tomb; the smaller brown dome marks the crossing of the church’s choir and transept. Directly in front is a Crusader belfry with two arched windows, which lost its upper stories during the earthquake of 1545. The slim minaret in the left foreground belongs to a neighboring mosque.
