Two steps lead down into an 18-foot by 18-foot square temple just south of the gate complex. The room was divided into two parts by a pair of pillars with a bench running between them (upper left in the photo), and benches along each of the walls. The focal point of the room was a polished stone slab set into the floor near the southeast corner (upper right in the photo).
