Another find from Aroer was this seal inscribed l’qosa (“belonging to Qosa”); an impression of the seal appears at bottom. The name of the seal’s owner incorporates the name of the Edomite god Qos; the seal’s presence at Aroer indicates that its inhabitants traded with their Edomite neighbors to the east.
