The figurine opposite is one of hundreds of bronzetti, bronze warrior statuettes, which are generally 6 to 8 inches tall and were produced in Sardinia some 200 years after the Shardana were active in the Levant. These statuettes indicate that Sardinian warriors wore horned helmets strikingly similar to those worn by the Shardana in the Egyptian relief at Medinet Habu (see photograph).
