Schøyen’s scrolls. Martin Schøyen is one of very few private individuals in the world who own pieces of the Dead Sea Scrolls (albeit small fragments)—over 40 of them from six separate scrolls. They include fragments of the Biblical book of Joshua, shown here, dating to the late first century B.C. or early first century A.D.
