Excuse me, that seat is mine. At the ends of rows of seats in classical theaters in Greece, the authors note, it is not unusual to find inscriptions that apparently indicate the number of the row or who is assigned to it. The concept is taken even further in a Roman theater in Gerasa, Jordan, where individual seats have Greek names incised on them.
