After finding a pile of 2,000-year-old women’s bones only inches from the surface in Building B, Broshi and Eshel’s team unearthed a mysterious male skeleton that was oriented east-west. Directly above the skeleton was a nearly-intact cooking pot, which dates to the late Second Temple period (first century B.C.E. and first century C.E.).
