The surviving portion of the podium wall that ringed the amphitheater and separated the public from the arena was covered in plaster and decorated with floral designs, pictures of animals and a human image. The photo shows part of the painting as it was found.The species depicted include elephant, rhinoceros, leopard, deer and fox.
