The Living Torah Museum, located in the heart of Brooklyn, was founded by Rabbi Shaul Deutsch to illumiate the everyday world of the Bible and other Jewish texts. The museum displays objects such as a pym, the amount levied (expressed as a unit of weight) by the Philistines to sharpen the swords of the Israelites; a kad (clay water pot); and a beer jug with built-in strainer.
