Traces of elegance have been discovered on some architectural fragments in the synagogue. One column bears a winding grapevine motif on one side and a typical three-footed menorah with a shofar and incense shovel, as well as tablets and the four species for Sukkot on the other side. This column probably decorated the façade of the Torah shrine, as shown in the drawing above.
