Palm trees and blue skies suggest that Ein Gedi is both beautiful and relaxing—and it is, if you’re not hiking to the Chalcolithic temple near the top of this peak, from which the mountains of Moab (in Transjordan) are visible in the background. The temple is located on a cliff seen just above the center palm tree.
