Hanan Eshel

A COOL PLACE TO LIVE. Archaeologist Hanan Eshel spent a week in the Morinaga Cave while excavating it, living where ancient priests may have dwelt thousands of years earlier. Finds from the Chalcolithic period—domestic pottery sherds, grinding stones, chalices—suggest that priests connected to the nearby temple were associated with the cave.
