The Migdal temple at Megiddo, says Israel Finkelstein, in its final phase dates to the tenth century B.C.E., the time of King Solomon. The plan is similar to the description of Solomon’s Temple in the Bible. Finkelstein concludes that Solomon did indeed build a temple in Jerusalem.
