Under the influence of international trade, many pieces of jewelry and other decorative pieces at Achziv reflect clear Egyptian ritual and artistic styles. Numerous imported items, including intricate Egyptian scarabs and minutely carved amulets were excavated from the Phoenician tombs. The rectangular amulet or plaque from the 26th Dynasty bears the cartouche of Thutmose III on its right side, while on the left, the Memphis deity Ptah holds his scepter.
