SOARING TREASURE. This 6-inch-long copper standard from the Cave of the Treasure hoard was crafted in the form of a soaring vulture with outstretched wings. Although bird motifs are prominent on other Chalcolithic treasures recovered from the cave, the standard is the only entire object made to resemble a bird.
