CURSE BE GONE. Byzantine monks living in the Tomb of Pharaoh’s Daughter made “improvements” including increasing the height of the tomb’s doorway. In doing so, the majority of the inscription panel above the door was destroyed. The photograph of the doorway shows the small remains of the inscription panel just to the left of the taller doorway.
