Built on a solitary hill in the Sinai near the border of Judah, the buildings at Kuntillet ‘Ajrud featured monumental wall paintings, among other finds. In this picture we are looking at a fort-like Building A, the principal structure at the site. The red dot marks the entrance, where the image of a seated monarch was discovered.
